Dr. Mile Churlinov
Mile Churlinov chose dental medicine even when he was a student in high school. In 2004 he graduated from the School of Dental Laboratory Technology in Bitola, North Macedonia, as a dental technician after which he continued his studies in Bulgaria.
In 2010, he graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the Medical University in Plovdiv. Between 2010 and 2012, he worked as a general dental practitioner at one of the fastest developing dental clinics in the country, Kavident, in Sofia. His special interest in endodontics also dates since then. From 2013 until 2020 he was part of the team of Medical Dent where he practiced limited to endodontics and autotransplantation of teeth with a surgical microscope. He graduated the “Master in Endodontics-Online” at “Universitat Internacional de Catalunya”.
Endodontically related dental medicine has always been of special interest to Mile Churlinov and today he is one of the leading specialists and innovators in the field, contributing to its development as a regular and active participant in various research groups and fora.
His profound knowledge and years of experience in the field of root treatment materialized in numerous academic publications in leading Bulgarian and international medical journals such as Dental Traumatology Newsletter, Dental Tribune, Dentaltown and Hungarian Endodontic Journal, among others.
Tooth autotransplantation is another subject in which Mile Churlinov is keenly interested. His meeting in 2015 with Dr. Mitsuhiro Tsukiboshi, Japan, contributed largely to his choice of this sphere of dental medicine. Two years later, upon the personal invitation of Mile Churlinov, the world-famous specialist made the first presentation of the method before a Bulgarian audience.

Prof. Dr. Ronald Ordinola Zapata
Prof. Dr. Ronald Ordinola Zapata, Associate Professor at the Endodontic Division University of
Minnesota School of Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Dr.
Zapata received his master's and doctorate degrees from the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil.
Dr. Zapata completed his Endodontic residency program at the IB Bender Endodontic Division,
Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, as well as a Certificate in Clinical Research at the
University of Minnesota's School of Public Health. In his academic career, Dr. Zapata has
published more than 110 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals and lectured internationally in
more than 17 countries. Dr. Zapata serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Endodontics
(USA), and is former Associate Editor of the International Endodontic Journal (2015- 2024).

Dr. Pierre Dimitrov
Dr Pierre Dimitrov graduated as a doctor of dentistry from MU–FDM Sofia in 2016. He practices in Delta Consult dental clinic, and his focus is on restorative adhesive and prosthetic dentistry supported by digital technologies.
Dr Dimitrov is part of the international BioEmulation group which unites dentists and dental technicians from all over the world – Spain, Greece, Switzerland, USA, Japan, etc. The philosophy of the group is related to the maximum imitation of the mechanics, function and aesthetics of natural dental structures. He is part of the Key Opinion Leaders & Advisory Board group for the development of ceramic CAD/CAM materials and a lecturer for the Japanese dental company GC.
Dr Pierre Dimitrov leads various lecture and practical courses in Bulgaria and abroad on adhesive techniques, indirect ceramic restorations and the application of digital technologies in modern dentistry. Together with the Denta Consult team, he was awarded three times prizes in the “Smile of the Year” competition in the categories “Full Restoration with Digital Prototype” and “Ceramic Restorations”.

Prof. Dr. Noé Gustavo Martínez
Graduated from the stomatologist autonomous university of Aguascalientes and afterwards completed his specialty in endodontics at the autonomous university of Querétaro and a postgraduate course in oral and maxillofacial radiology at UIC Barcelona.
Invited to the international endodontic program UIC Barcelona, he is an adjunct professor in the area of endodontic microscopy in Cáceres Spain from 2013 to date, a postgraduate professor in endodontics at the University of Guadalajara from2015 to date, a visiting professor at the endodontics postgraduate course at the autonomous University of Tlaxcala, a visiting professor at the endodontics postgraduate course at the Francisco Marroquín University (Guatemala) and a visiting professor at the endodontics postgraduate course at UNICAH (Honduras). He is the co-author of the microscopy in endodontics chapter of the book “Basic principles of clinical endodontics” University of Guadalajara, Cualtos 2018. Lecturer in many conferences, talks and courses given on the specialty in Mexico, France, Spain, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Panama, Peru, Portugal, USA.

Prof. Dr. Hani F. Ounsi
Professor Ounsi is a graduate of the School of Dental Surgery at the University of
Montpellier, France. He holds multiple advanced degrees, including a master’s in
Endodontics, a master’s in Medical and Biological Sciences, and a research master’s in
Oral Biology from Saint-Joseph University in Beirut. Additionally, he earned a PhD in
Dental Materials from the University of Siena and has obtained his HDR from the
University of Besançon.
Currently, Professor Ounsi serves as an Assistant Professor at the Lebanese University
and as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Medical Biotechnologies at the
University of Siena. He plays a significant role on the editorial and scientific advis
boards of several renowned journals, including the Journal of Endodontics, Frontiers in
Dental Medicine, and the Saudi Endodontic Journal, and is a reviewer for the International
Endodontic Journal, Dental Traumatology, and the Journal of the American Dental
Association.
He is a fellow of the International College of Dentists, as well as a member of both the
European Society of Endodontology and the American Association of Endodontists.
Throughout his career, Professor Ounsi has authored and co-authored over 50
publications and has delivered more than 200 lectures and courses across four
continents.

Prof. Dr. Giovanni Marzari
Dr. Giovanni Marzari graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Verona, standing out during his academic journey for his interest in endodontics. His thesis, titled "Optical Fibers in Endodontics," received widespread recognition and was published in 2002 in "Il Giornale Italiano di Endodonzia" and the "Illustrated Manual of Endodontics" edited by E. Ambu.
In 2006, he expanded his international education by attending advanced courses held by Cliff J. Ruddle at Advanced Endodontics in Santa Barbara, USA. In 2008, he participated as a guest in the postgraduate endodontic programs at TUFTS University and Boston University, further enhancing his expertise in the field.
Between 2011 and 2014, he attended annual courses in Periodontology and Implantology with Dr. L. Landi, enriching his knowledge in these complementary disciplines. In 2013, he successfully completed the Master’s program in Clinical and Surgical Micro-Endodontics at the University of Turin under the guidance of Prof. Elio Berutti, acquiring high-level specialization.
In 2022, in order to deepen the research methodologies, he obtained the Master in Clinical and Pre-clinical Research at the University of Parma.
In 2014, he was awarded the prestigious Lucia Mareschi Prize at the 24th National Congress of the Italian Academy of Endodontics, recognizing his contributions to research and clinical practice. Since 2015, he has been an Active Member of the Italian Academy of Endodontics, where he has held significant roles, including serving on the Board of Directors for the 2019/2020 term and as a member of the Accreditation Commission (CAS) for the 2021/2024 term. He has also been a Certified Member of the European Society of Endodontology since 2014.
Currently, Dr. Marzari serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Endodontics Department at the Dental School of the University of Turin and as an Adjunct Professor in Endodontics at the University of Verona. His academic and clinical commitment reflects his dedication to continuous education and the promotion of excellence in dentistry.

Dr. Gergely Benyőcs
Gergely Benyőcs DMD graduated summa cum laude in 2001 at the Semmelweis University of Budapest, and completed his master’s degree at the Uni’s Department of Conservative Dentistry in 2003.
He also graduated in 2008 at The College for Modern Business Studies.
Specialized in endodontic treatments and owns the PreceDent Dental Office, serving high level endodontic treatments, using microscopic approach and cutting-edge technology.
His office is a certified training center for the three years post graduate endodontic program.
He was teaching at the Semmelweis University of Budapest from 2001 to 2003.
External lecturer at the University of Szeged, Faculty of Dentistry.
Member of the Hungarian Society of Endodontology and the New Jersey Association of Endodontists.
Chief editor of Endodoncia, the Hungarian endodontic journal.

Prof. Dr. Teresa Arias Moliz
Teresa Arias Moliz currently works as an Associate Professor in the Department of
Microbiology (Dentistry and Medicine Division) at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of
Granada (UGR), Spain. She graduated from the University of Granada, where she also
completed her PhD. Afterwards, she earned a master’s degree in Microbiology and later joined
the Department of Microbiology at the University of Granada as a faculty member. She actively
collaborates with the postgraduate program in Endodontics at the UGR. Her primary research
interests focus on endodontic microbiology and root canal irrigation. She has published over
60 peer-reviewed international papers and contributed to several book chapters. Additionally,
she has presented her work at national and international conferences as invited speaker. Dr.
Arias Moliz is currently an Associate Editor of the International Endodontic Journal.

Dr. Bogdan Moldoveanu
Dr. Bogdan Moldoveanu DMD, MDSc graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine at
“Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and then
he continued his Postgraduate studies in Endodontics in Italy, at the Dental School of the
University of Turin. Here he successfully graduated from the Post-Graduate Master course in
“Clinical and Surgical Microendodontics” 2nd level.
He is an international member of the Spanish Association of Endodontics (A.E.D.E.), a
certified member of the European Society of Endodontology (E.S.E), and an International
Specialist Member of the American Association of Endodontists (A.A.E).
He is the CEO of the educational platform “Endodontics with Passion”, opinion leader for
ORODEKA and WOODPECKER. He holds the title of Assistant Professor at the University
of Turin at the Post-Graduate Master course in “Clinical and Surgical Microendodontics”-
Master program fully taught in English.
He undertakes his clinical activity in Baia-Mare and Cluj-Napoca, Romania working in
private clinics, focusing mainly on surgical and nonsurgical micro endodontics. Dr. Bogdan
Moldoveanu had the pleasure of sharing his passion for endodontics with hundreds of
people as an invited speaker at many conferences and congress in countries such as Italy,
Germany, Croatia, Lithuania, UAE, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia,
Slovenia, Malaysia, Finland, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Moldavia and Romania

Dr. Marco Bucci

Dr. Talal Al-Nahlawi
Dr. Talal Al-Nahlawi was born in Damascus in 1977. He graduated from Faculty of Dentistry-Damascus University in 1999; he completed his post graduate diploma in endodontics in 2001, Master of Science in 2004, and PhD degree in 2009 from Damascus University. Since then, he became an assistant professor at Operative dentistry and Endodontics department at Syrian Private Universities. He was conferred into the title of associate professor in 2016. He is also a part time lecturer at Damascus University, Al-Sham Private University, and National Dental Center for post graduate studies in Syria, and a Visiting Associate Professor at Tehran University of Medical Sciences TUMS Iran. Dr. Talal has published 23 articles in national and international peer-reviewed dental journals, Editor in many journals, authored and translated many books about restorative dentistry in Arabic, and lectured and conducted hands-on courses worldwide. Also, he is the founder of “Secrets of Successful Endodontic Practice” advanced endodontic fellowship, and the inventor of Dr Talal’s Endodontic Kit manufactured by Woodpecker.
Currently he is a board director member of the Syrian Endodontic Society (head of scientific committee), Councilor of the Asian Pacific Endodontic Confederation (APEC), lecturer in the esthetic dentistry and endodontic specialties program in the National Dental Center for post graduate studies, council member of the Syrian board of Endodontics and restorative dentistry, Endodontic program director of MHG Professional Development Dental Educational Institute Dubai, Member of the Endodontic council at British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry BAIRD, Advisory Board Member of the Dental Surgeons Association of India DSAI and Dental Students Welfare Association of India DSWAI, and Head of Endodontic department, Harmony Medical Group, UAE.

Dr. Ghassan Yared
Professor Ghassan Yared completed his endodontic training at University Paris VII (France) and obtained his M.Sc. from the Lebanese University (Lebanon).
Professor Yared has been extensively involved in teaching. He was Head of the Department of Research and a member of the Department of Endodontics at the Lebanese University, Lebanon. He joined the University of Toronto, Canada in 1999 for a full-time position as Director of the Endodontic Undergraduate Programme. He was granted tenure in 2004. Professor Yared has been elected for 4 consecutive years as the "Best Teacher of the Year", and has received the "Master Bruce Howard Award for Excellence in Teaching" the highest teaching award at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto.
Professor Yared has supervised the research projects of graduate endodontic students at the University of Toronto and has published extensively in peer-reviewed international endodontic journals. He has given numerous lectures and continuous education courses worldwide.
Professor Ghassan Yared has practised endodontics exclusively in Canada for 20 years. He moved to Lebanon where he practises endodontics part-time on a benevolent basis. He is also a visiting professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, Saint Joseph University in Lebanon.
Professor Yared is the inventor of single file endodontics and asymmetrical mechanical reciprocation, the basis of modern reciprocation. His research is currently focussed on root canal disinfection, pulpal anesthesia and emergency treatment of pulpitis. He introduced a new concept for the management of root canals with a non-instrumentation technique. He also introduced an approach for the emergency management of teeth with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis without a pulpotomy or pulpectomy, and a novel approach for reproducible successful pulpal anesthesia in mandibular molars presenting with asymptomatic irreversible pulpitis without the need of supplementary anesthesia (intra-ligamentary, intra-osseous or intra-pulpal) after the access cavity is started.

Dr. Antonis Chaniotis
Chaniotis Antonis is a graduate of the University of Athens Dental School, Greece (1998). In 2003 he completed the three-year postgraduate program in Endodontics at the University of Athens Dental School.
Since 2003, he owns a limited to microscopic Endodontics private practice in Athens, Greece.
For 10 years, he served as a clinical instructor affiliated with the undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the University of Athens, Athens Dental School, Endodontic department, Greece.
In 2012 he was awarded the title of Clinical fellow teacher at the University of Warwick, Warwick dentistry UK.
He lectures nationally and internationally, and he has published more that 20 articles in peer review International Journals.
His cases are published in peer review Journals and International Endodontic textbooks.
He currently serves as an active member of the Hellenic Association of Endodontists, Country representative in ESE, member of the Hellenic Society of Endodontology, certified member of the European Society of Endodontology (ESE), international member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) and member of the European Academy of Digital Dentistry

Prof. Dr. Xenos Petridis
Xenos Petridis, DDS, PhD was born on April 9, 1984, in Athens, Greece. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2008 from the School of Dentistry, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), Greece. In 2014, he completed a three-year postgraduate specialty program in Endodontics at NKUA.
From 2015 to 2022, he lived and worked in Groningen, The Netherlands, where he obtained his Doctorate degree from the University of Groningen in 2020 after successfully defending his dissertation. Since 2023, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics at NKUA.
His research focuses on endodontic biofilm disinfection, bacterial modulation of dental pulp stem cell fate, dentin extracellular matrix components, and dental pulp tissue engineering. Additionally, he is involved in various clinical endodontic research projects. He has authored and co-authored numerous scientific papers and book chapters in the fields of endodontics, stem cells, and tissue engineering.
Dr. Petridis maintains a private practice limited to Endodontics in Athens, Greece. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists and a certified member of the Hellenic Society of Endodontics, the Dutch Society of Endodontology, and the European Society of Endodontology (ESE), where he also serves as a member of the ESE Research Committee.

Prof. Dr. Setareh Lavasani
Dr. Setareh Lavasani is a board certified oral & maxillofacial radiologist. She is a full time Associate professor and the director of oral radiology and advanced imaging at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Dental Medicine in Pomona, California, USA.
Dr. Lavasani graduated from Ajman University of Science and Technology (AUST) in the United Arab Emirates in 2005 with a Doctorate degree in Dental Surgery (DDS). Upon graduation, she moved to the United States and in 2007 she joined the preceptorship program in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (OMFR) at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). At the end of her preceptorship program, she was accepted to the OMFR specialty residency program. She started the OMFR residency in July 2008. In December of 2013 she received her Certificate of Specialty Training in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
In 2014, she received her master’s degree in biomedical sciences from UTHSCSA. In the same year, she started her academic career as a faculty member at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California with the rank of Assistant professor. In January of 2015, after finishing all the required didactic and clinical trainings and successfully completing both parts of the certifying exam of the American board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, she received the prestigious “Diplomate” status from the American Board of OMFR, which is the highest professional honor of competence in the oral radiology specialty.
As the only Oral Radiologist in college of Dental Medicine (CDM) at Western University of Health Sciences she is in charge of oral radiology didactic content creation, presentation and assessment of the entire Radiology curriculum and oversees Oral Radiology preclinical and clinical education, planning, coverage and management. Dr. Lavasani is the chief Oral Radiologist at Western University Patient Care Center’s 3D CBCT Imaging lab and Interpretation center and maintains a busy CBCT referral practice at College of Dental Medicine with onsite and offsite clinical consultation services. She is an active member and contributes extensively to different WesternU committees (Radiation safety committee, PCC Radiation Officer) and CDM standing committees (curriculum management committee, curriculum design and integration committee, International Dentist program admission committee) and Ad hoc committees (Clinical Privileging committee). She is a member of board of directors at the Global Dental Implant Academy (GDIA).
